ONLINE BOOKING FOR FIRST-TIME PATIENTS

We currently require a $50 deposit for all first-time patients. If you have a gift certificate that you would like to use to pay for the session please call us for assistance. 412-626-2648.

If you are booking for a person different from you, please create the appointment under their name and contact information. Let us know if it will be a surprise; we will make arrangements to not contact the person until you wish.

NO-SHOW AND LATE-CANCELLATION POLICIES:

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A no-show, late cancellation or late rescheduling leaves a hole in your therapist’s schedule that negatively impacts their income and blocks another client from booking that appointment time. To avoid missed appointment fees, please call us at 412-626-2648 with as much advance notice as possible when canceling or rescheduling your appointment.

By booking an appointment, you agree to our cancellation policy below.

For appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time, we charge $70. Cancellations within 4 hours of the appointment time or “No-show” appointments will be charged 100%. Cancellation fees will be charged to your credit card on file or the last one used.

Note: We will try our best to fill the appointment, and if we are able to book another patient at the time of your appointment, we will waive this fee.

Craniosacral Therapy (CT) is a gentle hands on massage therapy that works with the craniosacral system to help clear restrictions and stagnation in the body.

Our body is covered and crisscrossed by connective tissue called fascia, it connects everything. Craniosacral Therapy uses light touch to release adhesions around the fascia in the craniosacral system and nervous system. Using still hand points, focusing mainly on the head, neck, hips and sacrum, the touch helps to adjust the cranial sacral rhythm. Clearing stagnation from the pulse of the fluid increases the the amount of nutrients to the brain and spinal cord.

Even small injuries can lead to the formation of restrictions. Small adjustments made to the fascia tissue can have rippling effects into the rest of our body. This work has been proven to help release knots in the fascia of the brain, spine and hips. Some other benefits may include enhanced immune function, pain relief, stress reduction, relaxation and improved mood and overall vitality.
